My hometown beach.
The weather here today and for the next 4 days will be beautiful. 70\’s. I can do so much more when the weather is comfortable.
I grew up in San Francisco and Pacifica, which is just 20 miles from the City. Coastal weather is what I am used to. When I was 19 or so, I moved over the hill, to the bayside – still had the marine influence but we also had warmer temps. Still, nothing like it is, here in North Central Valley.
The same beach socked in with fog
That is the only thing I miss – the cooler temps – 70\’s and 80\’s for the summer. Optional heat waves and it drops down to the 50\’5 and 60\’s in the winter. Perfect for me. Living on the coast you do have wind and fog. Sometimes the fog would sit on the coastal mountain range and when it just sits, we would get wind – a cold wind that made you feel as if you were in Alaska.
What I do like about living up here now is the mornings are beautiful and the evenings are nice.No sweaters, no sweatshirts – 6 months out of the year you can put your coat away. In the bay area, you have to always have a slicker or a sweater for those foggy evenings.
For the next 4 days, I plan to be enjoying the outside.
