Happy Veterans Day
When my husband was still working at Cal Vet, he received this from a child. I thought it was adorable and we\’ve kept it – I keep meaning to frame it and place it in our office.
Thank You Hero! Dear Vetron, Thank you for protecting our rits and freeom in the USA.
I am thank foll for peas on panot erth. Thank you for risking your life in fits.
Every year, we go to Applebee\’s for my husband\’s free meal. If you are a veteran, it is always a \”happening.\” Sitting together with like-minded people – everyone thanking each other for their service. Some of the old guys, (if they can) still fit into their uniforms. My husband won\’t wear his – but he does still fit into his Coast Guard Dress Blues. He only wears them, for special occasions, like when he is picked to give a \”coast guard\” official toast at the Marine Corp Ball, which is not happening this year. On occasion, for funeral services for Veterans. He used to be on the color guard. Currently, he is the Chaplain at our VFW Post here in Redding.
I just called Applebees, and they will be open. We\’ll do \”take out\” and go home.
Thank You, Applebees!
