For dinner last night, we ordered take out at my favorite Mexican restaurant and the refried beans were not cooked enough. The beans were hard. I had a few spoonfuls, hoping it was just that bite and before I knew it, I had consumed almost half of it until the lightbulb in my brain registered and told me to QUIT. Wow, how dumb is that? So I\’ve had a tummy ache. So what do you? They are so sweet and nice there, I decided NOT to call them and let them know. Then I started thinking, it\’s my duty to at least; let them know. After I went through all of that wishy-washy thinking, I just let it go.
Deep down, I know I should have let them know. Oh well.
I worked around my house yesterday – cleaning the walls. By the time it was bedtime, my body hurt on my right side, from all the reaching and stretching I did to wash down the walls. I don\’t remember getting all achy like this, years ago – I guess physically I really am getting old.
We get up every morning around 6am – and it\’s dark. I am having a harder time getting out of bed, even though we go to bed at pretty much the same time every night. Around 8 am, and after a cup and a half of coffee, I went back to bed till 10:30am. I was so sleepy.
The house is quiet now – the husband and the dog are taking their afternoon nap. It is just the cat and I taking up space here in the office. Every time I leave my seat, she jumps on it, settles in and I have to be the bad guy, to gently pick her up and put her back in her chair. Cats have a good life. No stress (if they are inside) and as they get older, they still look pretty good. She\’s going through another one of her finicky seasons. Plus she won\’t eat unless I stand there and watch her eat. She also likes it if I say her name over and over again – then she really chows down.
