A fun day

SOURCE: e-podi.com

In another hour or so, we go to the podiatrist to find out about \”The TOE.\” I love my husband and he is a good guy BUT, I have been suspecting he\’s been \”milking it.\” That is why I am going with him. I went the last time and while I would have been up and around (at least I think so) I heard her say with my own ears, that he needed to stay off his \”toes\” for 6 weeks. It\’s hard for me to understand that I had a partial knee replacement last year and I was out and about after 2 weeks. But when I stop with the snarky attitude, I do realize the two do not even relate. With knees, you have to work it. With broken bones, you need to bind them and allow them to heal. Last night he was putting on the OTC pain patch and I said to him that if he is still experiencing pain, then something is wrong. He didn\’t say anything. Now if I go today and find out that there IS something wrong, I will feel bad.

A good article about everything you ever wanted to know about a Pinky Toe fracture. When we stub our toe as we get older, they do need to be looked at or we could have issues down the line.

I\’m excited today – You know its bad when you actually look forward to going to the Podiatrist as a \”date.\” I miss going out together and doing stuff. It\’s been BORING. At least today we have something to do. Fun fun!

If he gets a good word – we\’re going out to eat – either for lunch or an early dinner.

I want to go to Olive Garden for a chicken fettuccine.

I always go with my husband, he will nod in agreement with the doctor to everything being said. Later when I question him about what he was told, he has entirely different interpretation, having heard only part of what was said!
