This and that and then some…

Yesterday I went to my gym and it was awesome. I am way out of shape, and I am sore. But it\’s a good sore where you sleep like a dead dog at night. The facility was clean – attendants walked around constantly cleaning up surfaces. Machines were spaced apart for the correct social distancing. I did notice one thing – they have a line up of about 15 or more flat-screen TVs while you use the machines and not one of them was on a news network. Usually, they have FOX, CNN, MSNBC. I felt good about that because who wants to work out to help prevent heart disease but then look up to watch the current events on the news and have a stroke! There was some man walking around proselytizing to his religion. I go there to work out – I don\’t want to talk to no one about anything. I switched to my bitch face and made no eye contact! He stayed away!

I made a hair appointment for Thursday at 2:15. My hair is so, so bad, that I had to dig out some bobby pins! I told the husband we can go out AFTER my hair appointment.

I went to a brand new grocery store that opened in the midst of all of the lockdowns. SaveMart. Nice store – and it\’s big. The prices are about $1.00 higher per item than I usually pay so I won\’t be shopping there on a regular basis. They do have some items that I can go there exclusively for. It was nice to go somewhere new plus they have nice new carts!

I drove by the new Big Lots, which will be opened on Sept. 3. They closed down our smaller one and then placed this newer bigger one in an old K-Mart building. They overhauled it and I\’m excited to just look around.

I made a cake the other night –

And I paid a teenager to mow my backyard for $20.

Creepy Joe

I am amazed at how the Democrats are using the gaslighting tactic- saying Trump is the one fanning the riots.  Gaslighting is a tactic in which a person or entity, (in this case the Democratic Party) in order to gain more power, makes a victim question their reality. It works much better than you may think. Anyone is susceptible to gaslighting, and it is a common technique of abusers, dictators, narcissists, and cult leaders. It is done slowly, so the victim doesn\’t realize how much they\’ve been brainwashed.

They\’ve turned everything around – it\’s topsy-turvy politics.

Okay, I\’m done here.

I agree with your thought of them turning everything around and blaming Trump for it all. What a mess! Glad you got to exercise and will get your hair done this week. It felt so good to get mine cut last week. Was driving me crazy! Glad you got someone to mow the lawn. Probably appreciated the pocket money.Betty

ickkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk…..Biden makes me cringe…I was going to say something about your gyms are open BEFORE hair salons? (thinking of Pelosi who went to a hair salon yesterday that was STILL CLOSED! Talk about privileged and hypocritical) ANYWAYS, gyms are still closed here. I see your hair salons are allowed to open outdoors today.

Yeah the teen is saving to buy a car – it was nice to be able to help him out.

Walmart has the worst carts – I especially like the smaller carts. Much easier to push around.

My county is a orange county. We are opening up but the rest of California, in the populated areas, like Marin county and in the Bay Area where Pelosi is, they are closed down. So yeah, she was showing her hypocrisy.

Just hanging out at home again, doing nothing except blogging and stuff but go no where and seeing only family and taking it one day at a time.
