The Last Monday of July 2020

A new week, another Monday. At least it is the last Monday of July 2020.
This afternoon, Laydee goes in to get her nails clipped. How the Vet is doing this, is we wait in the car – call them from our phone and they come out to get her. I don\’t know how that will work. She\’s a BIG baby and can get nippy, when something is not her \”normal\”. We always go in with her.
For some reason, I feel like something major is going to happen. Maybe our state will get shut down even more. I am so frustrated about everything I could just SPIT.
My husband received a old fashioned handwritten letter in the mail, from a cousin from his Mom\’s side. He\’s in his 60\’s and had called earlier to ask if we were interested in the 2 plots in the family cemetery in Kansas. My husband told him we weren\’t interested in the plots, so he sent the necessary document for my husband to sign, have notarized and send back. They haven\’t seen each other since they were teenagers. In the letter he mentioned how he and his wife were bored. I\’ll say – so bored they are planning their funerals.
We\’re not that bored yet…

I think it is wise to plan funerals. My mom prepaid for her's years before she died. It made everything really simple when she passed. Hubby and me have had talks about what we want done upon our passing and have a living trust in place. Honestly I am glad I am working. Sitting home all day would drive me insane with finding things to do especially with the summer heat.Betty

I must admit, that we are not as bored as that yet either. We have had a slight up tick in cases here in my province, I am hoping that people start following the directions we have been given by the health authority.God bless.

My 94 yr old FIL is all set and ready to go – We still need to arrange and pre-pay for our cremations. We already know we'll be up at the Veterans Cemetery.

I tend to get bored just before dinnertime. I take an emotional dive but I do get over it.
